Well, it’s still early and I can tell a rough day is ahead of me. I’ve been sick the last few days and with a few existential crisis ahead of me yet I’ve been feeling stir crazy from being stuck in the house all day (not that I don’t anyway). So in my most melancholy, Leonard Cohen’s voice is a great one to turn to. There are actually two versions of this song #1 and #2 but my preference is #1.
This initial recording only appears (to my knowledge) in live performances and bootlegs but it was in a concert in Isreal in 1974 bootleg that I first heard this song and still to this day have not recovered. Enjoy and listen well to Leonard Cohen.
