A Last Waltz

The Band is all but forgotten in our generation. Rising to fame as the backing band for acts like Bob Dylan and Ronnie Hawkins, they were finally given the chance to do their own album. After touring with the boos and jeers from Dylan’s electric movement they were happy to finally make their own album.
The result of Big Pink was the beginning of a great three albums by a band that had been in existence for almost a decade. Talented writing and an ear for music created one of the most hailed albums that the populace ignored.
Here is a song (I choose this one in honor of my father) that has continued to grow and truly inspire me. I hope you enjoy.
Sit back, relax and listen well.
